Information from the Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) said that the incident occurred at Km240+500 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, passing through Y Can Commune (Tran Yen, Yen Bai).

Initially, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle died on the spot, and the bus assistant was being taken to the emergency room.
According to some drivers passing through the scene, the fire flared up fiercely, engulfing the entire vehicle, creating a column of smoke and fire hundreds of meters high.
