On September 17, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police) invited Mr. T.N.T.H. (55 years old, residing in Dong Nai province) - the owner and driver of the vehicle - came to work on a violation when driving a bus on National Highway 20.
Previously, on September 16, the fanpage of the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department received a report from people about a bus recklessly overtaking on National Highway 20, endangering road users.
Immediately after receiving the report, the leaders of the Traffic Police Department directed Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 to verify the information. Through verification, at about 7:41 a.m. the same day, while traveling on National Highway 20 in the direction of Tan Phu - Bien Hoa, when reaching the section passing through Bac Son Hamlet, Gia Kiem Commune, Mr. H. drove a bus with license plate 60F-024.xx into the motorbike lane to overtake a truck in front.
At the meeting, Mr. H. admitted to the above violation.
The Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 has issued a fine for Mr. H. for the crime of "Driving in the wrong lane", according to Point b, Clause 5, Article 6 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers strictly comply with lane regulations, not in a hurry but because they have the potential to cause accidents, affecting the safety of themselves, passengers and other road users.
