HCMC resumes operation of bus route 86 connecting universities from September 5

HCMC - From September 5, bus route No. 86 will resume operations to serve the needs of people and students; and stop operating the non-subsidized bus route No. 61-7

According to the Public Transport Management Center, bus route No. 86 (Ben Thanh - Ton Duc Thang University - Long Kieng Bridge) will resume operation from September 5, with the starting point at Saigon Bus Station and the end point at Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment.

The new route of bus route 86 is as follows:

Round trip: Saigon Bus Station - Pham Ngu Lao Street - De Tham Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - Ham Nghi Street - Nguyen Thai Binh Street - Calmette Bridge - Doan Van Bo Street - Hoang Dieu Street - Khanh Hoi Street - Kenh Te Bridge - Nguyen Huu Tho Street - D6 Street (turn around) - D6 Street - Ton Duc Thang University - Nguyen Huu Tho Street - Hoang Anh Gia Lai Residential Area internal road - Le Van Luong Street - Long Kieng Bridge - Le Van Luong Street - Nguyen Binh Street - Huong Binh Street (left of the internal road) - Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment.

Operating time: The first trip departs at 5am and the last trip arrives at 7pm (total of 110 trips/day).

Regular ticket prices (VND6,000/trip); student tickets (VND3,000/trip); pre-sold tickets (VND 135,000/episode of 30 tickets).

In addition, the Public Transport Management Center also announced the suspension of the unsubsidized bus route No. 61-7 (Binh My ferry terminal - Binh Duong bus terminal), from September 5.
