During Tet days, when people temporarily rest, play and enjoy moments of family reunion, driving after drinking alcohol can cause serious consequences, affecting the lives and property of themselves and other traffic participants.
One of the main reasons why the traffic police force decided to conduct alcohol concentration tests right from the beginning of the new year is to protect absolute safety for people during this major holiday.
In the first days of the year, the number of vehicles increased sharply due to the need to travel to visit relatives, friends, spring travel and participate in festivals. When combined with subjectivity, the alcohol concentration in the blood of drivers after drinking alcohol can cause loss of vehicle control, leading to serious traffic accidents.
