In Phu Long commune, one of the mountainous communes of Ninh Binh province, election preparations have been well prepared. The commune has 4,560 voters, of which more than 4,300 voters are ethnic minorities, mainly the Muong ethnic group.
This locality has 4 electoral units and 15 voting areas, with scattered villages, propaganda and preparation for election day face many difficulties. The decoration, arrangement of polling stations, and review of voter lists are all carried out fully, ready for election day.

However, thanks to the coordination of mass organizations, propaganda work has gradually gone deeper, helping people understand the meaning of participating in elections.
Ms. Dinh Thi Nhung, a Muong voter in Vong village, said: "We have received complete information about the candidates and their action programs. I really hope that those elected will fulfill their responsibilities well and focus on economic development, people's lives, especially ethnic minorities.
Similarly, in the mountainous commune of Cuc Phuong, preparations for the election day are also ready. Cuc Phuong commune has 6 electoral units and 14 polling areas, population is scattered in 17 villages. The work of reviewing voter lists is carried out strictly, closely coordinated with the police force to compare information with the national population database.
Mr. Truong Nguyen Nhat - Deputy Head of the Party Building Committee of Cuc Phuong commune, said: "Voting areas have been decorated, fully prepared with ballot boxes, seals and instructional materials. The locality has also developed a plan to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, and communication throughout the election process.
