Dak Lak - Voters in the province hope that National Assembly deputies elected will pay attention to and strengthen supervision to combat wastefulness in large projects.

Recently, candidates for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term belonging to constituency No. 5, Dak Lak province had a meeting, contact and presentation of action programs to voters in Buon Ma Thuot ward; and at the same time connected online with voters in Tan Lap, Tu An wards and Ea Ktur commune.

Notably, attending the voter meeting was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

After listening to the action program of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi and other candidates, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Deputy Head of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group 11 (Buon Ma Thuot ward) said that the National Assembly is the law-making body, so when elected delegates need to carefully study the reality, fully assess the impact before issuing policies, ensuring they are suitable for the situation of each locality.

We expect Mr. Nghi and other delegates, if elected, to pay more attention to major issues of the country such as economic development, implementation of key projects and works. At the same time, strengthen supervision of the implementation process to ensure efficiency, avoid losses and waste, and be associated with environmental protection," Mr. Hai emphasized.

Voters in Buon Ma Thuot ward also requested delegates to pay more attention to market management and price stabilization in the context of many volatile commodities, contributing to stabilizing people's lives and promoting socio-economic development.

In addition, voters expressed their wish that candidates, if elected as National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, will well implement the action program set out, be close to the people, be close to the people, and actively listen to the opinions of the people.

At the same time, pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles so that localities can effectively exploit potentials in agriculture, transportation, tourism, forest resources and cultural heritage values, contributing to bringing Dak Lak province's socio-economy to develop more strongly in the coming time.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi said that if he is trusted by voters in Dak Lak province to be elected as a National Assembly deputy, he will strive to perform well the responsibilities, tasks and responsibilities of a democratically elected deputy.

He also committed to regularly maintaining close contact and attachment with voters; actively contacting and listening to the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of voters to report to the Party, reflect and propose to the National Assembly and the Government.

In addition, he will also monitor, supervise, and urge functional agencies to consider and resolve voters' recommendations promptly and effectively.

Regarding legislative activities, the Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee affirmed that he will actively and responsibly participate in the process of building and perfecting the legal system.

He said that he will focus on researching, proposing and contributing to the Party and National Assembly in promulgating mechanisms and policies to improve the legal system, meeting social management requirements and in accordance with the development practices of the country.

In which, he paid special attention to policies and laws related to ethnic minorities, remote and isolated areas, border areas, islands and particularly difficult areas.
