On the evening of March 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City organized an online voter meeting to serve the campaign to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term for candidates belonging to constituency No. 5.
The conference was connected from the central bridge point at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City to 18 bridge points in communes and wards in the area, creating conditions for a large number of voters to follow and contribute opinions.

Constituency No. 5 in Da Nang (including 27 communes and wards belonging to former Quang Nam) has 5 candidates for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, voters will elect 3 deputies.
Candidates include:
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Member of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the Delegate Affairs Committee, Director of the Department of Delegate Affairs (National Assembly Delegate Affairs Committee).
Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City.
Ms. Ho Thi Hiet - Teacher of Tra Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Tra Linh commune, Da Nang).
Ms. Dinh Thi Mia - Teacher, Deputy Head of Professional Team of Vo Nguyen Giap Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School (Tra Tap commune, Da Nang).
At the conference, candidates presented action programs, stating contribution orientations if they are trusted by voters to be elected as National Assembly deputies. The content focused on issues of concern to voters such as socio-economic development, narrowing the development gap between urban and mountainous areas, caring for the lives of workers, education, social security and improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly's supervisory activities.
Through the online system, voters at bridge points followed the presentations of candidates, and expressed their wishes for infrastructure development, job creation, improved quality of public services and support policies for disadvantaged areas.
According to the Organizing Committee, the organization of online conferences in addition to direct meetings aims to expand the reach of voters, especially in areas far from the center. This form helps many groups of voters such as workers, teachers, armed forces, and people in mountainous areas have conditions to participate in monitoring and sending opinions to candidates.
Previously, candidates participated in four direct voter contact conferences in Ban Thach, Nui Thanh, Chien Dan and Tien Phuoc localities. After the online conference on the evening of March 6, the election campaign program will continue with contacts in Tra My and Nam Tra My.
