Lao Dong newspaper recorded that in the afternoon of the same day, at the eastern and western gateways and Cat Lai ferry, traffic was smooth, with only a few slight congestion points occurring.

Lao Dong Newspaper recorded that at about 5 pm, on Le Kha Phieu street (National Highway 1), in the direction of the Mekong Delta provinces to Ho Chi Minh City, there was a lot of traffic, but no congestion. Some intersections on this route were crowded with traffic, and functional forces were on duty to regulate traffic lights, so there was no traffic jam.




Ms. Nguyen Kim Xuan, traveling from Dong Thap province to Ho Chi Minh City, said: "This New Year's Day travel seems much more convenient, less traffic jams. I am also afraid that going to the Binh Chanh area before will cause traffic jams, but unexpectedly it is clear.


And in the An Phu intersection area, the road leading to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway is also similar, the traffic situation is stable. It is recorded that the number of vehicles moving on the expressway towards Ho Chi Minh City is large but does not cause congestion. The Mai Chi Tho road and the N2 overpass branch towards Hanoi Highway are clear.




Recorded at Cat Lai ferry in the direction from Nhon Trach, Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City, cars lined up, slightly congested, while the opposite direction was still clear. Ferry representatives said that today they welcomed about 55,000 passengers through the ferry.
