After the holidays, the number of vehicles returning to Ho Chi Minh City is forecast to increase, Lao Dong Newspaper suggests some traffic directions from provinces and cities returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

After the 4-day holiday, the number of vehicles pouring into the city is forecast to increase sharply, in which some hotspots may experience congestion such as: An Suong, An Lac intersection, Dong Nai bridge, My Thuy intersection, An Phu intersection, Ring Road 3, underpass and key overpass areas, ferries in the city.

To ensure safety and limit congestion, people should proactively choose appropriate travel time frames, and consider alternative routes.

Below are some traffic directions that people can refer to:

East

From Vung Tau, Ba Ria (formerly) to Ho Chi Minh City (central area)

Route 1: From Vung Tau, Ba Ria (formerly) - National Highway 51 - National Highway 56 (Long Khanh) - National Highway 1 - Vo Nguyen Giap street (Bien Hoa) - Ho Chi Minh City (through Dong Nai bridge).

Route 2: From Vung Tau, Ba Ria (formerly) - National Highway 51 - Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway - towards Cat Lai ferry - Ho Chi Minh City.

Route 3: From Vung Tau, Ba Ria (formerly) - National Highway 51 - Nhon Trach Bridge - Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay - Ho Chi Minh City expressway intersection.

From Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City:

Route 1: From Da Lat - National Highway 20 - National Highway 1 (Dau Giay) - Ho Chi Minh City (helps avoid congestion on the Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway).

Route 2: From Phan Thiet - National Highway 1 - Vo Nguyen Giap street (Bien Hoa) - Ho Chi Minh City (through Dong Nai bridge).

Route 3: From Phan Thiet - Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway - Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway - turn into Long Khanh intersection - National Highway 1 - Vo Nguyen Giap street (Bien Hoa) - Ho Chi Minh City (through Dong Nai bridge).

Route 2: DT743 - National Highway 1 (Song Than intersection) - Pham Van Dong - Ho Chi Minh City (avoiding Binh Trieu bridge).

South (Western provinces - Ho Chi Minh City)

Route 1: National Highway 60 - Rach Mieu bridge - National Highway 1 (formerly Tien Giang) - Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway - Cho Dem intersection - Ho Chi Minh City.

Route 2: National Highway 60 - Co Chien Bridge - National Highway 53 - National Highway 1 (Vinh Long) - My Thuan - Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway (circulation route but more open, reducing the risk of congestion).
