On the morning of May 31, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security said that Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police is continuing to verify and clarify the incident related to the clip recording the scene of a man claiming to be a driving instructor making inappropriate statements when working with functional forces.
According to the Traffic Police Department, previously, on May 29, a clip appeared on Facebook with the content "I am K.C. T, do you know me? After going out, just claiming to be Mr. T's younger brother may be good. But I don't know if this content is wrong or right?".
According to the content of the clip, a car driven by a trainee traveling on National Highway 1B turning into Tran Danh Tuyen street (Phuc Loi ward, Hanoi) entered the motorbike lane.
When stopped by the traffic police force for inspection, the person sitting in the car - believed to be the driver's instructor - had an attitude of non-compliance, and at the same time continued to ask the trainee to control the vehicle to move.
Immediately after receiving feedback through the information receiving line of the Traffic Police Department, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 conducted verification and invited the vehicle owner with license plate 30B-170. xx, Mr. K.C. T (born in 1978, residing in Long Bien ward, Hanoi) to work.
Through initial verification, at about 3:55 pm on May 29, Mr. K.C. T used a personal car to support and guide driving skills for Mr. L.T. G (born in 1984, permanently residing in Ho Chi Minh City) on National Highway 1B.
When arriving in the area in front of Phu Dong gas station, Mr. G drove his vehicle into the motorbike lane, violating regulations on lane use, so he was stopped by the traffic police force for inspection.
Functional agencies determined that in the process of working with the traffic police force, Mr. K.C. T made inappropriate statements. After that, this person extracted images from the incident and posted them on social networks.
However, only about 20 minutes after posting, the clip was removed due to many conflicting opinions from the online community.
On May 30, Mr. K.C. T posted another video on his personal page, admitting that his behavior was inappropriate, and apologizing and calling on everyone to strictly comply with the provisions of law on traffic order and safety.
Currently, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 is continuing to verify to clarify whether Mr. K.C. T violated regulations related to driving enrollment and training.
At the same time, functional agencies are also considering handling the act of driving in the wrong lane of Mr. L.T. G and other violations (if any).
According to the Traffic Police Department, all individuals participating in traffic must comply with the provisions of the law and be equal before the law, with no exceptions for any case.
