At about 5:20 am on May 31, a truck with license plate 89H - 085. xx driven by driver Nguyen Van Hieu (born 1997, residing in Bu Dang commune, Binh Phuoc province) was traveling North – South on the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway, when the truck was traveling to Duc Quang commune, it suddenly caught fire fiercely.
Discovering the incident, the driver quickly drove the car to the side of the road, stopped and then escaped to find a way to put out the fire but failed.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
After about 30 minutes, functional forces extinguished the fire, but the truck was completely burned down.
The cause of the car fire is being clarified by functional agencies.
