Saving a child swept away by waves successfully, father missing at sea

Quang Tri - Discovering his son swept ashore by waves, the father swam out to rescue him, and then went missing at sea.

On the afternoon of May 1st, Vinh Hoang Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that the unit is coordinating with local authorities, Cua Tung Border Guard Station, Commune Military Command, Fire and Rescue Police Department (Quang Tri Provincial Police) and people to deploy the search for a tourist who went missing while swimming in the sea.

According to initial information, at about 10 am on the same day, Mr. H.H. N (born in 1980), along with his two children D.H. C. P (born in 2012) and D.H. P (born in 2015, both residing in Giang Vo ward, Hanoi City) went swimming in the coastal area of Thai Lai village, Vinh Hoang commune.

At about 10:20 am, baby D.H. P was swept away by the waves. Discovering the incident, Mr. H.H. N swam out to rescue and pushed the baby ashore safely.

After that, relatives did not see Mr. H.H. N, so they organized searches around and reported to the local authorities at about 11:15 am on the same day.

Immediately after receiving the information, functional forces were present at the scene, mobilizing vehicles and personnel to organize the search for victims at sea and along the coast.

Until 4 pm on the same day, Mr. H.H. N was still not found. Functional forces are expanding the search area, and at the same time notifying the authorities and people in neighboring coastal localities to coordinate support.
