To ensure safety for people and tourists during the summer tourist peak season 2026, especially the extended April 30 - May 1 holiday, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches has deployed 100% of rescue and combat readiness personnel from early morning to late at night.
According to Nguyen Quoc Vinh - Head of the Rescue Team, Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, the rescue force will be deployed with 100% of their personnel to ensure absolute safety. Working hours start from 4:30 am (the time when people go swimming early) and end at 7:00 pm daily. On peak days, the rescue team regularly works overtime, regardless of the hot sun, to guide tourists to swim in safe areas, with the supervision of functional forces.
The coastal loudspeaker system also continuously broadcasts warnings about distant currents, deep water areas and sea safety regulations. Signs and flags are also reviewed and newly planted in dangerous areas for people to easily recognize.

The management board has requested SUP rental units and tourists to equip themselves with 100% life jackets. Rescue forces will regularly patrol, remind and resolutely prevent cases of rowing SUPs too far from safe areas or without protective equipment. The goal is to prevent from afar risks that may lead to drowning accidents," Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, shared that with the theme "Touching the Original", Da Nang not only brings diverse tourism, sports, and marine culture products but also focuses on service quality and environmental security.
“We strive to innovate seafood products to welcome guests most thoughtfully. But above all, the safety of tourists is the number one priority. Maintaining clean and beautiful beaches, good security and order, and elite rescue forces is the way for Da Nang to maintain its brand as the most attractive beach on the planet,” Mr. Vu said.
