Saved the life of a woman suspected of committing suicide by jumping off a bridge

    Quang Binh - A woman in Bo Trach district suspected of jumping off a bridge to commit suicide was fortunately saved by the authorities and local people.

    On January 31, the People's Committee of Nong Truong Viet Trung town (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that a suspected suicide attempt had just occurred in the area, but the victim was saved.

    At around 6:00 p.m. on January 30, Ms. D.T.T.L (born in 1997, in Thang Loi residential group, Viet Trung Farm town) is suspected of jumping off the Dinh River bridge to commit suicide.

    Upon receiving the news, local people and authorities coordinated to carry out rescue work.

    After a short time, Ms. L was rescued and brought safely to shore. The victim was taken to the Viet Trung Farm Town Medical Station for health monitoring.

    Currently, Ms. L's health has stabilized and she has been handed over to her family for care.
