On the afternoon of April 20, the Rescue Team of the Urban Order and Regulations Team of Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) promptly saved a victim who suffered a seizure while swimming at Nhat Le beach.
At around 4:50 p.m., Mr. L.A.Q (20 years old, residing in Nong Truong Viet Trung town, Bo Trach district) and a group of friends went swimming in Nhat Le beach. While swimming, Mr. Q suddenly had a seizure and drowned.
Discovering the incident, rescue forces on duty in the area quickly approached, brought the victim safely to shore and performed first aid. Thanks to timely treatment, Mr. Q has overcome the danger and is gradually recovering his health.
According to the authorities, this is the second time in a month that the Nhat Le Rescue Team has saved people in distress at sea. Previously, on April 11, Mr. N.G.H (23 years old, residing in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province) was also saved by rescue forces when he was swept away by waves while swimming in the sea.
