In particular, the city delegations focus on inspecting establishments that produce, trade, and import food in large quantities, unit markets, supermarkets, and commercial centers. For small and medium-sized food establishments and food service establishments, inspections are mainly conducted by district, commune, and ward levels according to management decentralization.
Control and ensure food safety before, during and after the Lunar New Year and the Spring Festival 2025, especially products/product groups used a lot during the Lunar New Year and during festivals such as: meat and meat products, beer, wine, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, cakes, jams, candies, vegetables, tubers, fruits, food additives, etc. and food service establishments; promptly detect, prevent and handle violations of food safety, control food poisoning, especially mass poisoning and alcohol poisoning due to methanol.
For food producers, processors and traders, the Board will inspect and disseminate regulations on hygiene conditions of facilities, equipment and tools in food production, processing and trading. It will disseminate production and business models, safe food products and chains, and traditional local products to promote and encourage the production of safe food products with strong traditional features and local specialties...
Every week, publicize establishments and individuals who are administratively fined for food safety violations to warn, deter, and prevent illegal food production and trading.
