On March 10, the City People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1561/UBND-SXD on taking advantage of the Kim Ma mascot model for public decoration after the completion of the Flower and Lighting Decoration project to serve Binh Ngo Tet 2026.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Department of Construction on assigning the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang to coordinate with Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Co., Ltd. to continue to take advantage of 2 mascot models including Kim Ma Hop Nhat and Kim Ma 4.0.
Specifically, the Kim Ma Hop Nhat model is relocated and arranged in the landscape lake area of Thanh Dien Hai street, in front of the City Administrative Center; the Kim Ma 4.0 model is arranged in the sidewalk area in front of the T-shaped bridge. The decoration period is from after the Lunar New Year to the end of September 2026 to ensure safety before the rainy and storm season.
For small-scale mascot models at the Flower and Lighting Decoration project serving Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the City People's Committee agreed to allow schools in the area to receive and decorate within the school grounds.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to consider and decide; and at the same time coordinate with relevant units and commune-level People's Committees to receive, manage, and use public assets for the right purposes and effectively, and establish a list for handover and management according to regulations.
