After being found and taken out of the mountainous forest area near Suoi Da Hang (Ba Na commune, Da Nang) safely, on August 2, Mr. Pham Duc Tai (born in 2001, from Thai Ninh commune, Hung Yen province) wrote a handwritten letter, emotionally expressing his thanks to the officers and soldiers of Ba Na Commune Police and the commune military force for promptly searching and supporting him to return safely.
Mr. Tai said that during the exploration of the Suoi Da Hang area, due to accidentally getting lost, slipping and losing direction in the mountains and forests, he fell into a state of confusion and anxiety. When he was found by functional forces, he felt lucky and grateful for the sense of responsibility and dedication of the rescuers.
“That is an unforgettable memory in my life. Once again, I would like to send my deep thanks to you, wish you good health, always peace and stability in your work to continue to help and protect everyone,” Mr. Tai wrote in the letter.
Previously, at 9 pm on August 1, Ba Na Commune Police received a report from Mr. Do Dinh Giap about Mr. Pham Duc Tai being lost while exploring the Suoi Da Hang area.
Before losing contact, Mr. Tai called to inform him that he had slipped and fallen, losing direction. His last location was determined through phone positioning in the area near Suoi Da Hang.
Immediately after receiving the information, Ba Na Commune Police coordinated with the Commune Military Command to urgently mobilize officers and soldiers to organize the search. Determining that this was an emergency situation, the two forces established many working groups, deploying night-long searches in complex mountainous terrain conditions.
After many hours of deploying forces and rescue plans, at 0:30 am on August 2, the task force discovered Mr. Tai in the forest area near Suoi Da Hang.
At the time of being found, Mr. Tai was still conscious, his health was basically stable, suffering minor scratches due to slipping and losing strength after many hours of being trapped in the forest. Functional forces quickly gave first aid, encouraged his spirit, and supported him to get out of the dangerous area and handed him over safely to his family.
