People especially come to watch the new government
On the morning of July 1, in the sunny weather at the beginning of the month, Mr. Le Van Dat (73 years old), a relative of a policy family, residing in Thanh Binh area, Hai Chau ward, Da Nang city, slowly stepped into the ward's Public Administration Center. Although he did not come to resolve personal procedures, he still proactively arranged time to learn and observe the working style of the new government model.

"I believe in the great policy of the Party. The merger and streamlining of the apparatus is necessary to make the country develop more strongly. Today, I want to directly monitor and evaluate how the new government is operating, and am really impressed with the thoughtfulness and professionalism of the ward staff, Mr. Dat shared with Lao Dong with satisfied eyes.
The new Hai Chau ward officially came into operation from today, after merging 5 old wards including Thanh Binh, Thuan Phuoc, Thach Thang, Phuoc Ninh and Hai Chau. This is a big step to streamline the apparatus, reduce intermediate levels, increase management efficiency, and better serve the people.

Recorded at the Hai Chau Ward Administrative Center, the working atmosphere was urgent and professional. The information technology system, the dossier receiving counter and the staff are fully arranged to guide people to prepare documents online and in person.
Most people coming to do administrative procedures do not have to wait long, the documents are received and processed quickly.
Professional operation, people are satisfied
Mr. Nguyen Trong Thai (residing in Thach Thang) who came to do land-related procedures shared: "At first, I was a bit worried because I thought the merger would make things more complicated. But in reality, everything is very clear and quick. It will be done in less than 20 minutes.
Similarly, Ms. Le Thi Kim Ngan (29 years old) who came to make a birth certificate for her child said: "This is the first time I have received such enthusiastic support from a cadre, even helping me fill in information on the computer. The service atmosphere is friendly, creating a very secure feeling".

To prepare for the first day of operation, the Ward People's Committee has tested hypothetical situations such as overloading records, interrupting IT systems, conflicts in old and new processes, etc. All were carefully handled before being officially implemented.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Chau Ward (new), Da Nang - said: "We have organized many skills training sessions for cadres, upgraded technology infrastructure and synchronously connected with the city's digital government system. Although the number of documents after the merger increased 3-4 times, the goal was not to affect the people. Any arising situations must be resolved promptly and effectively".
According to Mr. Duy, assigning staff according to their capacity and experience helps the apparatus operate flexibly, avoiding confusion in the transition period.
Not only in Hai Chau ward, other administrative units in Da Nang city also recorded a serious working atmosphere, high sense of responsibility and satisfaction from the people on the first day of operating the new government model.
Great change always comes with challenges. But today, I clearly see one thing: when the cadres are determined and the people are unanimous, it can be done well no matter how difficult it is," Mr. Le Van Dat shared with great expectation for the city's innovation journey ahead on the Han River.
