The People's Committee of Da Nang City on November 22 said that the Working Group of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Da Nang City Police has quickly coordinated with local authorities to actively provide relief to people in Tuy Hoa Ward, Dak Lak Province.
Many cases of elderly people, children, and pregnant women were taken to safe shelters by authorities. Specialized vehicles of Da Nang Traffic Police have been fully operated to transport more than 1,000 meals, provisions, drinking water, and medicine to people in isolated areas.
According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Tuy Hoa Ward (Dak Lak) is identified as an area where floodwaters rose rapidly, flooded deeply, and flowed rapidly, causing many residential areas to be isolated, people lacking water for daily use, food, and risk of damage to people and property.
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan said that heavy rain lasting from November 15 to 20, 2025 caused particularly large floods, widespread flooding in Dak Lak province, seriously affecting tens of thousands of households.
Notably, the water level on the Ba, Ky Lo, and Ban Thach rivers all reached and exceeded historical flood levels, causing deep flooding in 34 communes and wards in the eastern area and many communes in the western region.
Immediately after landing at Cam Ranh Airport (Khanh Hoa) on the evening of November 21, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh went directly to the flood center of Dak Lak province to inspect, check, and direct the response and recovery work to overcome the consequences of floods and visits and encourage people in flooded areas in the locality.
