Before the damage caused by the tornado that occurred on the night of November 16, leaders of Tam Ky ward, Quang Phu ward and Phu Ninh commune (Da Nang) visited and presented funds to support people in Huong Tra ward, Chien Dan commune to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
In Huong Tra ward, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Tam Ky ward presented 40 million VND to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
Previously, the leaders of Tam Ky ward and the working group visited and encouraged households whose roofs were completely blown off after the tornado on the night of November 16.
Sharing the difficulties of the people, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Phu Ward Bui Ngoc Anh and the working delegation also visited and presented 40 million VND to support Huong Tra ward, of which the Ward Fatherland Front Committee contributed 10 million VND, contributing to helping the locality quickly overcome the damage caused by the tornado.
In Chien Dan commune, a working delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Ninh commune visited, encouraged and presented 20 million VND to support households that suffered heavy damage due to the tornado that occurred in the area.
According to the report of Huong Tra Ward People's Committee, the tornado on the night of November 16 blew off the roofs and damaged 30 houses in 9 solidarity groups in the residential groups: Hoa Lang, Ngoc Bich, Dong Hanh (old Tam Ngoc commune area). Of which, 11 houses had their roofs completely blown off, the rest had their roofs partially blown off.
In addition, the tornado also damaged a flower greenhouse for Tet with an area of 3,000m2, completely collapsed; 11 electric poles, 1ha of fruit trees of all kinds, 500m2 of glue and many fallen trees.
In Chien Dan commune, great damage was recorded due to a tornado on the evening of November 16. The Commune People's Committee reported that 55 houses had their roofs blown off. Of which, 3 houses had their roofs completely blown off in Khanh Tho village and Truong My village. In addition, 4 injured people had to be treated for emergency care due to this tornado.
