On April 1, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City announced that it had issued a document on the use of excess land in 3 major projects in the city to optimize the use of resources, reduce waste and save costs for transportation and wastewater treatment.
According to the Department of Construction, there are currently three projects with significant excess land, including the My An Ward - Education - High-end Apartment Complex Project, Ngu Hanh Son District; the Duong Day Project to close an open canal about 500m long in the Hong Thai - Tan Trao area, Lien Chieu District; and the DMT-Group Hotel Project, My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.
The project of high -class medical - education - apartment complex of My An ward is expected to start in April and will arise about 216,076m3 of excess land. The project closed the Hong Thai - Tan Trao open canal is expected to start in July and has an excess land volume of about 8,500m3. DMT hotel project - Group is expected to start in October, with an excess land of about 9,672.7m3. In total, these three projects were expected to create more than 234,000m3 of excess land.
The Department of Construction requests investors of projects using state budget capital in the city to consider and propose plans to receive and use excess land from the three above-mentioned projects and have a response before April 8. This is to take advantage of available resources, reduce transportation and treatment costs for waste, and contribute to environmental protection.
