On February 4th, Da Nang City People's Committee announced that it had just issued a plan to organize fireworks displays on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026 to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the new year, meeting the spiritual and cultural enjoyment needs of people and tourists, and at the same time promoting the image of a dynamic and developing city of Da Nang.
According to the plan, the fireworks display time is 15 minutes, starting at 0:00 on February 17, 2026. Preparation, transportation, installation, collection and preservation of equipment and fireworks are deployed from the beginning of January 2026 to the beginning of March 2026, ensuring compliance with regulations and absolute safety.
Da Nang City organizes fireworks displays at 6 locations including: area in front of Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee (land area belonging to Kim Long Nam project); Bach Dang street (intersection with Binh Minh 6 street); Western Ring Road resettlement area (Hoa Vang commune); Con Bap tourist area (Hoi An ward); 24-3 Square (Hung Vuong street, Ban Thach ward); Nui Thanh Commune Square.
Fireworks are fired in the form of artistic fireworks displays, without using background music, applying FireOne and L100S automatic firing systems. High-altitude and low-altitude fireworks are provided by 21 Chemical Co., Ltd. (General Department of National Defense Industry).
The Military Command of Da Nang City is the lead unit, coordinating with the City Police, Border Guards, departments, agencies, branches and related localities to implement the plan. Security and order assurance, fire prevention and fighting, rescue, and traffic diversion on roads and waterways are strictly implemented before, during and after the fireworks display.
