According to Plan 30/KH-UBND, the payment of allowances and Tet gifts must be completed before the set time frame. Tet gifts include gifts from the President and gifts from the city. The total estimated budget for visiting and giving gifts throughout the area is 335.9 billion VND. This is a large resource, showing the city's concern for policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances, contributing to ensuring social security during Tet.
In addition, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh signed a decision, approving an additional targeted amount of more than 8.79 billion VND for localities to visit and give Tet gifts to poor households. This funding is allocated from the city budget, belonging to the social assurance project group, in order to promptly support poor households to celebrate Tet more fully and warmly.
In parallel with social security work, Da Nang City People's Committee issued a plan to inspect and monitor market prices before, during and after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year. The inspection focuses on complying with regulations on price declaration, information disclosure, price listing and selling at listed prices.
The groups of goods and services inspected include essential goods such as food, foodstuffs, fuel; fixed-route passenger transport services, taxis; parking services; tourism and sightseeing services; medical services and essential medicines. The inspection is implemented according to a specific time frame within the day, lasting from before Tet to after Tet.
The requirement is that relevant units must closely coordinate and deploy synchronously, both ensuring the payment of allowances and Tet gifts to the right beneficiaries, on schedule, and maintaining market stability, controlling prices, contributing to Da Nang people celebrating Tet safely, healthily and meaningfully.
