According to Sun Group's troop report as of February 14 (December 27), the total manpower at APEC 2027 projects invested by the group did not decrease, even increasing to 6,212 people, adding 233 personnel in just one day. The Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Investment Project area alone has a total troop of 3,677 personnel. The APEC Conference and Exhibition Center construction site maintains more than 1,250 engineers and workers on duty, ensuring the progress of key items.

Many workers actively stayed on the island with their teammates to construct throughout Tet, creating unimaginable things in the days leading up to the New Year.

Having more than 6,200 workers working on the 27th of Tet is rare in the construction industry. According to Mr. Hoang Minh Vy - Chairman of Phu Quoc Construction Block, Sun Group: "The Tet-through construction plan was built early to meet the important milestones of the projects. However, from nearly 3,000 people to more than 6,200 people is unimaginable, especially with the sea and island terrain of Phu Quoc. We see a very large common spirit because of key national projects, officials and employees do not want to go home for Tet when their comrades are still there.
Many workers of contractors have proactively registered to work throughout Tet even though they previously planned to return to their hometowns. When they saw that other teams were still constructing, many people decided to stay to complete the workload together.
To ensure the rights of workers, contractors have arranged appropriate salaries, bonuses, living conditions and traditional Tet meals for the force working throughout Tet; and at the same time organized flexible shifts, ensuring labor safety and construction quality.

In that spirit, we work 3 shifts, 4 crews, no days off, no Tet, no holidays, applying advanced technology processes in the production process, in the construction process to shorten progress, ensuring high-class, quality, and differentiated projects".

Before Tet, the company also has gifts for officials, employees as well as workers at the construction site and ensures preferential policies and salaries to encourage the spirit to celebrate Tet together at the construction site, a Tet full of energy and enthusiasm.
