The Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress will not buy leather and clothing

Dien Bien - To focus on overcoming the consequences of flash floods and landslides, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee continues to announce the policy of limiting shopping to serve the Congress.

Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee has just signed a Notice on the policy of adjusting a number of contents to serve the Provincial Party Congress to be economical, practical and effective.

Accordingly, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress will not shop or equip leather pairs containing documents and costumes for delegates attending the Congress (applicable to both delegates and guests).

Previously, on August 6, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee sent an official dispatch to the affiliated Party Committees regarding the adjustment of the congress agenda. In which, it is required not to organize art programs, not to receive flower baskets to welcome the congress from organizations, agencies, units, unions, businesses, and individuals.

For localities affected by floods, landslides, and traffic insecurity, it is recommended not to organize the Youth Union program to celebrate the congress.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, the heavy rain on the night of July 31 and early morning of August 1 caused flash floods and terrible landslides, causing heavy damage to people and property in many mountainous communes of Dien Bien province.

The whole province has had 10 deaths and 12 injuries; over 640 houses were damaged, thousands of hectares of rice and crops were washed away and buried; many traffic routes, schools, medical facilities, public works... are estimated to have damage of over 700 billion VND.
