Dak Lak - The Department of Finance has established a team to inspect the implementation of domestic water sales in the locality of Dak Lak Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dakwaco).

On June 11, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper said that Mr. Vo Ngoc Tuyen - Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance - signed a decision to establish an inspection team to inspect the implementation of clean water sales in the area of Dak Lak Water Supply Joint Stock Company (Dakwaco).

The inspection team consists of 10 members, led by Mr. Le Danh Thang - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance.

The task of the team is to inspect the implementation of Decision No. 08/2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on the selling price of clean water for daily use according to Circular No. 44/2021 of the Ministry of Finance.

The inspection results will be compiled and reported to the Provincial People's Committee to assess the implementation of regulations at Dakwaco.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had repeatedly reported that the price of domestic water in Buon Ma Thuot was continuously increasing, causing outrage.

In addition, Dakwaco also operates and uses many projects invested by the State for free but has not included them in the equitization plan to increase the state capital contribution ratio.

On the other hand, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has also transferred the case related to Dakwaco to the Provincial Police for handling according to regulations.
