On October 17, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen signed an official dispatch directing departments, branches and localities to strengthen forest protection management and forest fire prevention during the dry season of 2024 - 2025.
The entire Dak Nong province currently has over 248,000 hectares of forest. Of which, there are over 196,000 hectares of natural forest. This is one of the localities with the largest forest area in the country.
To protect forest areas from the risk of fire attacks during the dry season, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee directed units and localities to strictly implement legal regulations related to the forestry sector.
