As Lao Dong reported, the fire that occurred at 10:00 a.m. on May 12 in Group 8, Gia Sang Ward (Thai Nguyen City) caused a lot of property damage.
On the same evening, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chien - Chairman of Gia Sang Ward People's Committee said that the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
"When receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to deploy a fire prevention and fighting plan. There were no human casualties in the fire.
Every year, the locality has a plan to propagate and disseminate knowledge about fire prevention and fighting to the people," the leader informed.
According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Gia Sang Ward, the fire broke out at the grocery store of Mr. D.N.H (born in 1990) and then spread to the surrounding area.
The initial estimated damage to the 4 households is about 1.97 billion VND. Of which, the family of Mr. L.T.L (born in 1990) suffered a loss of about 1.3 billion VND.
