On November 28, authorities in Da Lat city (Lam Dong) are investigating a car that crashed into the curb and overturned, killing one person and injuring three others.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper, the driver of the electric car was initially identified as Ho Xuan Long (44 years old), residing in Ward 6, Da Lat city.
At about 10:48 a.m. the same day, Mr. Long drove the car carrying Mr. Nguyen Van Son (26 years old, living in Hanoi) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh (21 years old, Mr. Son's wife), a 1-year-old child, and Mr. Son's daughter to a coffee shop in Ta Nung commune, Da Lat city.
While the electric car was traveling on a residential road, near a coffee shop, it suddenly changed direction, crashed into the curb and flipped over.
The incident left a 1-year-old girl dead, and the driver and Mr. Son's wife seriously injured.
A representative of the electric taxi company said the driver and victims were seriously injured and are being treated at the hospital.
After the incident, the taxi company coordinated with authorities to clarify the case.
