As Lao Dong newspaper reported, the fishing boat capsizing incident occurred on the evening of August 25 in the Tan Thai spillway area, bordering Dong Hy commune, Van Han commune, Linh Son ward (Thai Nguyen), causing 3 people to go missing.
Functional forces have spent the whole night deploying search and rescue.

By the morning of August 26, rescue work was still continuing to be deployed. Hundreds of officers and soldiers organized searches along the river branch from Linh Nham bridge to the foot of the dam.
In addition to using specialized equipment, diving plans are also being implemented.
Heavy rain in recent days has made the water flow fast, causing many difficulties for the search.
The identities of the victims were identified as: Duong Van B. (born 1990), Duong Van H. (born 1987), Duong Tien V. (born 2003) and Dang Ba L. (born 1983), all residing in Linh Son ward.

Among them, Mr. Duong Van H. was lucky to drift ashore and was discovered by people and taken to the emergency room after the boat capsized. The remaining three people are still missing.
The cause of the boat capsizing is being verified and clarified by functional agencies.
