Thanh Ba commune (Phu Tho province) was established on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Thanh Ba town with three communes: Dong Xuan, Hanh Cu and Van Linh of the old Thanh Ba district.
As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, Thanh Ba district previously invested in a project to build a connecting road from Km30 of Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway to the center of Thanh Ba district, with a total investment of 250 billion VND.
According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in mid-August, the above-mentioned project has been completed, the road is built more than 7.6km long, going through many fields, gardens, and hills planted with acacia in the old Thanh Ba district, forming high slopes connected to each other.
The road is built according to class III delta road standards, design speed of 80km/h; roadbed width 12m, road surface width 7m... The starting point of the route connects to inter-commune traffic road in zone 3, old Thanh Ba town (now Thanh Ba commune); the ending point connects to National Highway 2 at Km95+250.
According to research, in the near future, a large transportation project will be invested, building an additional road connecting the old Thanh Ba town with the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway.
That is the project to build a traffic road from Dao Gia intersection (former Thanh Ba town) connecting to Dong Xuan, Van Linh to Thanh Ba industrial cluster and connecting to Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway.
The above project has a total investment of 158 billion VND invested by Thanh Ba Commune Public Service Center.
According to the reporter's investigation, the investor recently issued a notice inviting bids for Package No. 07: Construction of the project.
Package No. 07 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 89.6 billion VND from the commune budget and other legal mobilized sources.
In the near future, after having the contractor selection results, the winning bidder will construct the road with a total length of 3,071.40m, divided into 2 routes:
Line 1 has a length of 1,111.51m, starting point at Dao Gia intersection, intersecting with DT. 314 at Km14+500; ending point intersecting with Km30 road that has been completed in zone 3 (former Thanh Ba town).
The road is designed according to urban road standards, street type, design speed 40km/h; roadbed width 17m, road surface width 10.5m, sidewalks on both sides 3m wide each.
The first section of the route is the section passing through densely populated residential areas on both sides of the road. To minimize the occupancy of houses, land and existing works of people, the route will be designed with local adjustments compared to standards, locally narrowing the roadbed and surface (roadbed 12m, road surface 8.5m... ).
For route 2, with a total length of 1,859.89m, the starting point intersects with the road connecting Zone 3 - Zone 4 Dong Xuan; the ending point is in Zone 1 (old Van Linh commune), intersecting with the existing residential land road.
The road is designed according to car road standards, grade III mountainous road type, design speed of 60km/h; roadbed width 12m, road surface width 6m, reinforced sidewalk width of 2.5m on each side.
The deadline for the winning bidder to complete is 840 days from the date the contract takes effect.
Thus, the project will create an additional traffic axis connecting the old Thanh Ba district center with the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway, contributing to the development of industrial zones/clusters in the area, meeting the needs of goods trading and people's travel, and promoting socio-economic development.
