The Ring Road 2 project in the western area of Vinh Phuc urban area, the section from DT. 306 to DT. 307, was approved by the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province (old) from October 10, 2023, according to Decision No. 2208/QD-UBND.
This is a group B project, with a total investment of more than 358 billion VND invested by the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board (Phu Tho province).
According to the reporter's investigation, the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board recently issued a bidding invitation notice for the "Construction and installation" package of the project.
The above bidding package is widely bid through the network, with a price of nearly 225 billion VND from provincial-level public investment capital for the 2026-2030 period.
In the near future, after the "Construction and installation" package completes the selection of construction contractors, the winning bidder will deploy project construction in Lap Thach and Lien Hoa communes, Phu Tho province (mainly in Lien Hoa commune).
The bidding package will build a road with a length of 4.521km, starting from the end point of the Ring Road 2 project in the western region of Vinh Phuc urban area, phase I (section from DT. 305 to DT. 306) intersecting with DT. 306 in Ban Gian commune (old), ending at the intersection with DT. 307 in Hoa Son town (old).
Investment items include foundation, road surface, green trees, drainage, technical trenches (at necessary locations) and traffic safety systems.
The road being built has a roadbed width of 36m, a road surface width of 21m (each lane 10.5m), a sidewalk width of 12m (each side 6m), a median strip width of 3m...
The maximum completion time of the bidding package is 30 months from the date the contract takes effect.
According to the investor, the investment objective of the project is to gradually complete the western ring road system of Vinh Phuc urban area and close the Ring Road 4 in the transport development plan of Vinh Phuc province (old).
Along with that, connecting Lap Thach I, II, Thai Hoa - Lien Son - Lien Hoa industrial parks with National Highway 2C; contributing to serving traffic needs, promoting socio-economic development of Lap Thach district (old) in particular and the province in general.
Ring Road 2 project in the western region of Vinh Phuc urban area, phase I, section from DT. 305 to DT. 306 has a total investment of 348.6 billion VND, building a road about 5km long passing through Lap Thach, Tien Lu and Lien Hoa communes, Phu Tho province.
