Van Giang Commune People's Committee has just organized a conference to hand over the construction site of Ring Road 3.5 Project (section from DT. 378 to QL. 5) to the investor and construction unit.
The project passes through the commune with a recovered area of about 12.41 ha, with a total investment of 1,495 billion VND. Over the past time, the commune Party Committee and government have focused on drastic direction, mobilized the involvement of the entire political system, promoted propaganda and dialogue, and created consensus among the people in site clearance work.
Up to now, the locality has paid compensation and support money to 206 households with a total amount of 44 billion VND, and at the same time continues to complete the remaining plans to ensure project progress.
The Ring Road 3.5 construction project (section from DT. 378 to QL. 5) has a total length of more than 8 km, passing through Van Giang, Nghia Tru and Nhu Quynh communes, with a total investment of more than 1,490 billion VND.
This is one of the key projects of the province in the 2026 - 2030 period, playing a connecting role with the project to invest in the construction of Ngoc Hoi bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge invested by the Hanoi People's Committee. Currently, localities on the route are actively implementing site clearance to meet construction progress.
Previously, during the inspection of the project implementation situation, Mr. Lai Van Hoan - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee requested the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 together with departments, branches and localities to urgently hand over the area of agricultural land, traffic land, and irrigation land that has completed site clearance to the construction unit.
At the same time, continue to focus on site clearance for the remaining route sections, coordinate to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
The handover of land on schedule in Van Giang commune demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government and local people in implementing the project, contributing to accelerating the construction of key projects, completing transport infrastructure, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, creating motivation to attract investment and promote socio-economic development of Hung Yen province.
