The Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council (HDBT, HT, TDC) of Phu Thai commune, Hai Phong city has just announced a plan for site clearance to implement the project to build a Hanoi - Hai Phong railway service road through the area. This is an important traffic route to synchronously connect service routes, ensuring safety on the main railway axis.
According to the plan, 31 households in Phuong Due village have assets on the land that have been recovered. Households have been given specific information on policies, compensation regimes, survey and counting times. The majority of people agree with the land recovery for project implementation, and also made a number of recommendations related to reviewing the population in the recovered plots of land to ensure legitimate rights.
After announcing the plan, the Board of Directors, HT, and TDC of the commune and the investor will conduct a counting of land area, assets, trees, crops, determine land origin and population. This work is expected to be completed before October 10, 2025.
The project to build a service road through Phu Thai commune has a total reclaimed area of over 11,900m2, invested by the Kim Thanh (old) Construction Investment Project Management Board. The route will combine spontaneous residential crossings, village roads, and alleys to connect with legal crossings to National Highway 5A, while promoting the effectiveness of service road projects that have been and are being implemented in the area.
The construction of the service road not only contributes to synchronizing infrastructure, facilitating people's travel but also eliminates and fences all spontaneous paths, improving railway traffic safety on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, especially through the Kim Thanh (old) area.
