On September 15, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council chaired a regular meeting in September 2025, giving opinions and unanimously approving the content of the program of the 2nd Session of the 7th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
Accordingly, the meeting is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of September 16, 2025. Here, the Provincial People's Council will discuss and consider many important contents, including:
Adjust the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025; Expected medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030; Approving tasks and budget estimates for purchasing equipment for the health sector in 2025.
In addition, the Provincial People's Council will consider terminating the investment policy for the construction of projects for offices of the Military Command and permanent militia housing in some communes and wards.
Notably, the Provincial People's Council will also conduct a review and decision on personnel work under its authority.
The personnel improvement is set in the context that recently, some provincial leaders have submitted resignations for personal reasons.
Among them, there are Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Hau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
Most recently, Mr. Phan Tan Canh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Hai Commune - also submitted a resignation letter.
