Over the years, the government and people of Thanh Hoa have made efforts to protect, preserve, embellish and promote the value of cultural heritage imbued with the national identity of our province, gradually taking measures to develop these potentials to become resources and strengths for the economic, cultural and social development of the province," said Mr. Pham Nguyen Hong.
Previously, on December 22, 2014, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province granted a stone mining license to Tien Thinh Company Limited at Dun Mountain.
During the process of quarrying, a cave was discovered inside Dun Mountain. After the press reported, on April 15, 2024, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued a document temporarily suspending mineral exploitation in the limestone mine area in Dun Mountain, Ha Long Commune, Ha Trung District.
