On the afternoon of August 21, at 4:30 p.m., the atmosphere on Tran Phu - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai streets (Hanoi) was bustling and full of excitement. People were present early, standing on both sides of the sidewalk, everyone was looking forward to the parade, marched to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 (A80).
From Hai Phong, Ms. Mai Thi Mai (born in 1991) moved from 1:30 p.m. to arrive at Kim Ma Street, Hanoi.

Holding her young child in her arms, next to the older child about 5 years old, she could not hide her excitement: "I'm so excited. I waited to be welcomed to watch the ceremony with my two children".
The woman brought all the cakes, milk, fans... to the mother and child to have the health to fully enjoy the training session. She revealed that she will stay until the end of the training session before getting back to Hai Phong.


Amidst the crowded crowd, the image of Mr. Tran Van Sang (residing in Thanh Tri, Hanoi) moved many people. He walked nearly 20km, from Giap Bat Bus Station to Tran Phu Street, just to witness the historic moment with his own eyes.
"I have been waiting for this day for a long time," he shared, sweating but his eyes were filled with radiance. Many people present at the scene proactively gave him a seat to observe him more clearly, even though they had been waiting in line since 11:30 a.m. the same day.
When asked why he chose to walk, Mr. Sang smiled: "I want to see the city as fully as possible, to feel every corner of the street, every flag flying in the wind".

Along the central streets, the red color of the national flag flew, mixed with cheers and bustling drums.
All join in national pride, towards the parade, the A80 parade is moving forward. Not only an event, this is also a moment that connects the hearts of millions of people in the capital in common joy.
