    While walking onto the road on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway, the mother and her young child were suddenly hit by a truck.

    According to initial information, at 7:05 p.m. on February 22, at Km 67+700 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (in Phu Tho province), a truck with license plate 19C-220xx hit a mother and child walking on the road.

    As a result, the child died on the spot, the mother was injured and taken to the emergency room.

    After receiving the report, the authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.

    According to the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway Management Unit, there was light rain at the time of the incident, a complete traffic safety system, and a normal road surface.
