On the afternoon of August 12, the rain lasted nearly 3 hours in the central wards of Xuan Truong - Da Lat, Lam Vien - Da Lat, Lang Biang - Da Lat (Lam Dong province) and partially flooded many areas, especially low-lying areas.
In particular, in alley 28 Lu Gia (Lam Vien - Da Lat ward), due to low water level, the water rose rapidly, causing about 40 households to be isolated from the surrounding area, including many children and the elderly.

The authorities of Lam Vien - Da Lat ward received the information, together with the Fire Prevention and Fighting - Rescue forces of Lam Dong province, and quickly deployed to the scene.
Rescue forces quickly brought the stranded people through the heavily flooded area to safety. Dozens of other households in the alley were also mobilized to go elsewhere to wait for the water to recede.

By the end of August 12, local authorities had supported about 40 households with hundreds of people to evacuate to some locations, waiting for the water to recede to return to clean their houses.
