In the early days of May, at key construction sites in Dien Bien province, the atmosphere of labor emulation is taking place urgently before entering the rainy season, especially at school projects preparing for the new school year.
At the investment project to build the Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding School (PTNT) for Primary and Secondary School (THCS) (Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien) with a total investment of more than 224 billion VND.
About 350 workers of Trading and Construction Co., Ltd. No. 6 are being divided into many simultaneous construction teams. The project progress has now reached 65% to be handed over before August 30, 2026.

At the Thanh Yen and Muong Nha Inter-level Primary and Secondary School projects, hundreds of workers divided into many groups and teams working continuously, with high concentration.
At traffic projects for periodic and unscheduled repairs on national highways and provincial roads. Dien Bien Department of Construction also organized actual inspections at the site to assess the implementation situation.
Mr. Le Hong Nam - Deputy Director of Dien Bien Department of Construction also requested that contractors must focus maximum manpower, machinery and equipment, and take advantage of favorable weather days to accelerate the completion of underground and foundation items before the rainy and flood season.
In particular, accelerating progress must absolutely not be traded for the quality of the project and must strictly comply with regulations on labor safety and traffic safety such as: the intersection of National Highway 12 with Pham Van Dong road, the project to treat the road surface and build a rescue road on National Highway 279...

At the Nam Rom river basin disaster management project (with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND), many items are under construction such as: building nearly 15 km of embankments on both banks of the river, dredging the riverbed and building embankments.
At packages No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6, the construction unit mobilized maximum machinery and manpower to deploy many construction fronts. The embankment lines are divided into smaller sections, each section has many teams working in parallel, forming a continuous construction network.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Hai - Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Agricultural and Rural Development Works of Dien Bien province (Project investor) - said that one of the biggest difficulties of the project is that site clearance is not synchronized, causing construction to be divided and not continuous.
However, the investor also directed the contractor to construct in the area where the site has been cleared, maximize time, and coordinate with local authorities to soon hand over the clean site to the construction unit.
