Unseasonal rains in the South

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the coming days there will be unseasonal rain in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities.

Weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours, the cold continental high pressure will gradually weaken in the North, but still diffuse weakly to the South. Northeast wind over the Southeast sea will operate with strong intensity.

Above, the subtropical high pressure with an axis through the Central region is operating stably. The equatorial low pressure trough with an axis of 3-6 degrees North latitude gradually rises to the north, weakly affecting the South.

From December 2, the cold continental high pressure will be weakly strengthened and on December 6, it will be strong in the North of our country. The Northeast wind in the sea off the Southeast will gradually decrease in intensity until December 6-7, when it will increase again.

Above, the subtropical high pressure system is stable, then gradually lifts its axis to the North. The equatorial trough weakens around December 4-5 and lowers its axis to the South.

Therefore, the weather in the Southern provinces in the West is forecast to have unseasonal rain. In the first days of December, the probability of rain increases, the early morning weather is cool.

During the high tide period in early November of the lunar calendar, the river water level is quite high, combined with strong northeast monsoon (level 6-7, gusting to level 8), which can cause flooding in low-lying areas and riverside areas, affecting traffic and socio-economic activities in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities.
