In 2026, Dien Bien strives to dig more than 21.6 million planting holes, equivalent to about 12,000 hectares, including 5,930 hectares of coffee and 6,070 hectares of macadamia (including intercropping and pure planting).
It is expected that about 6,000 households will participate, with each household planting an average of about 1 hectare of coffee and 1 hectare of macadamia.
To implement the plan, the province mobilized about 14,150 workers, including 12,000 people, 900 militia and self-defense forces and 1,250 officers and soldiers of the armed forces to participate in support, especially in difficult areas.
At the launching point of Muong Ang commune, more than 400 officials, soldiers and people directly dug holes to plant new coffee and macadamia trees.

Muong Ang currently has over 1,800 hectares of coffee, of which more than 1,600 hectares are in business, with an output in 2025 of over 3,800 tons of rice husk coffee, and revenue of over 400 billion VND.
By 2030, the commune strives to achieve over 2,300 hectares of coffee and over 1,000 hectares of macadamia, intercropped fruit trees, forming concentrated commodity production areas, improving economic value on the same land area.
In 2026, Sin Thau border commune strives to dig 909,500 tree pits, on an area of 500 hectares (875,000 coffee pits and 34,500 macadamia pits), with the participation of about 500 households.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, forces and people proceeded to dig more than 7,000 coffee and macadamia planting pits on an area of nearly 3 hectares.
