Dien Bien promotes many police officers to Colonel and Senior Colonel

Dien Bien - 53 people from the Provincial Police have just been promoted to the ranks of Colonel and Senior Colonel.

On the afternoon of April 28, Dien Bien Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the Provincial Police on promotion to the rank of Colonel, Senior Colonel, and salary increase in 2026.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Major General Vu Van Dau - Director of the Provincial Police awarded decisions to promote ranks from Senior Colonel to Colonel to 20 comrades holding the position of Head of Department and equivalent.

Awarding decisions to promote ranks from Lieutenant Colonel to Senior Colonel to 33 comrades holding the positions of Team Leader and equivalent, Head of Commune and Ward Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vu Van Dau congratulated the comrades who were promoted to ranks and salary grades in 2026.

The comrade emphasized that the promotion of rank is the recognition of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security for the process of training, striving and contributions of officers and soldiers in the cause of ensuring security and order.

Major General Vu Van Dau requested comrades to continue to maintain political bravery, promote the spirit of responsibility, constantly study, train, and improve professional qualifications.

Pay special attention to focusing on promoting digital transformation in the entire force, considering this as one of the key and breakthrough tasks in the current period.
