Recently, many households in Cu cut commune (Lam Dong) reported a power outage for nearly 12 hours on September 12, but on the EVNSPC Customer Service application, the electricity output showed an unusually high increase. In particular, there were cases where it nearly doubled compared to the previous day.
In response to the above reflection, the leader of the People's Committee of Cu cut commune said that he would direct the department and specialized department to coordinate with the Electricity sector to inspect and verify to ensure the rights of the people.
On September 18, the Cu cut Power Management Team issued an official document explaining the incident.
Accordingly, the unit received feedback that on September 12, 2025, there was a schedule to temporarily suspend power supply from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in villages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 (old Cu Knia area), but the output shown on the EVNSPC Customer Service APP increased higher than normal days.
Immediately afterwards, the Cu cut Electricity Management Team sent professional staff to the village chiefs' houses and met directly with customers in the old Cu Knia commune to learn and verify the above content as correct.
The team employee explained as follows: The temporary suspension of power supply on September 12, 2025 was as announced by the team. The meter records the output in accordance with the distance measurement data after the time of power outage (the meter does not record the consumption output).
Currently, APP CSKH EVNSPC is reporting output on day N = 0h index of day N - 0h index of day (N-1). That is the output of the day (N-1) but the app records it as the output of the day N". Thus, the output on September 12, 2025 displayed on the app is the output of September 11, 2025.
Staff of Cu cut Electricity Management Team discussed and guided, so that customers in Cu cut commune could understand the above problems. At the same time, Lam Dong Power Company will adjust the error on the APP to accurately report according to the output of the customer's electricity consumption day.
