If your rooftop solar power system produces more electricity than you need and you want to sell this surplus to the Electricity Company, the process is as follows:
Step 1: Providing documents requesting electricity sale
You need to provide a dossier requesting the sale of electricity from rooftop solar power sources according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 24 of Decree 58.
Step 2: Power unit checks the documents
The Power Unit will check the information you provide:
- If the application meets the requirements: Transfer to Step 3.
- If the application does not meet the requirements: The Electricity Unit will notify you and report to the local Department of Industry and Trade so that you can complete the application.
Step 3: Accept the measurement and control system
After the documents are complete, the Power unit will coordinate to accept the power measurement system and the remote data collection system, as well as the monitoring and control system.
- If successful: Continue to Step 4.
- If not achieved: You will need to fix it so that the system meets the requirements.
Step 4: Signing an electricity purchase contract
The Electricity Unit will negotiate and sign an electricity sale and purchase contract with you, with the main contents according to Form No. 05 of the Appendix attached to Decree 58.
Step 5: Preview the documents
After completing the above steps, your file will be stored.
