After merging 4 wards, the natural area of Binh Duong ward is 58.157 km2 (reaching 1,057% compared to regulations), the population is 107,576 people (reaching 239% compared to regulations).
The highlight of Binh Duong ward is the Binh Duong Industrial - Service - Urban Complex (commonly known as Binh Duong New City).
Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee said that the new city of Binh Duong is gradually building to become a political - economic, cultural and social center of the whole province. A modern, dynamic, sustainable urban center with full types of development to serve about 125,000 long-term residents and more than 400,000 regular workers.
