Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 748/QD-UBND on approving the adjustment of investment policy and agreeing with the investor of the Tien Cat Urban Housing Project (first investment policy approval in Decision No. 1662/QD-UBND dated July 28, 2020).
According to the decision, the project's implementation schedule is adjusted for another 2 years.
Specifically, from the third quarter of 2021 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2027 (previously from the third quarter of 2022 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2025) - carry out procedures according to the provisions of law on construction, law on land, law on fire prevention and fighting, law on environment and other relevant legal regulations.
During the above period, invest in building and completing the technical infrastructure system and architectural works under the project according to the 1/500 detailed plan approved by competent authorities; organize acceptance and handover to put the works into use according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Departments of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, Construction; Provincial Tax Department, Thanh Mieu Ward People's Committee and relevant agencies to inspect, supervise, guide and urge investors to carry out legal procedures to invest in construction according to the registered progress.
The Tien Cat Urban Housing Area project, Thanh Mieu ward, has a scale of more than 14.2ha, with a total investment of nearly 968 billion VND, invested by Song Hong Thu Do Group Joint Stock Company. The project includes 387 houses combined with commercial and service, with a total construction floor area of over 213,000m2.
To date, the project has completed important legal procedures and deployed the construction of technical infrastructure and architectural works.
The total realized value is estimated at nearly 689 billion VND, of which some items achieved high progress such as: Ground leveling reached 90%, drainage system reached 85%, water music tank completed 100%, clock tower item reached about 84%, townhouse reached about 35%.
Currently, the project is facing obstacles related to site clearance (about 19% of the area has not been handed over), many households have not agreed on compensation, support, and resettlement plans, and about 65 graves have not been moved according to plan.
