Accordingly, the Art Program to welcome the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship in Quang Ninh will be jointly organized by the People's Police Music and Dance Theater, the K20 Ceremonial Group, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province at 30.10 Square, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City at 7:00 p.m. on September 7, 2024.
The program will open with a street parade performance of 20 songs praising the homeland of Vietnam, and a march about the People's Public Security by the Vietnam People's Public Security Band.
Following the program was a performance by the Mobile Police Cavalry, under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security, with main parts such as: Controlling horses in a parade formation; controlling horses to run in a horizontal line; controlling horses to run with both hands free; demonstrating the technique of jumping on and off the horse in an emergency; demonstrating the technique of controlling horses to run with both hands free, combined with the use of weapons and support tools...
The program ended with an art performance with unique and attractive music and dance performances, elaborately staged, divided into two chapters with the themes "Radiant Vietnam" and "Vietnam People's Public Security Integration and Development".
With the slogan “The Power of Police! Taekwondo Police - global citizen protectors”, the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship will take place from December 6-9 at the Quang Ninh Provincial Sports Complex, Dai Yen Ward, Ha Long City.
The opening ceremony was held on the evening of December 6, 2024 at the Quang Ninh Provincial Sports Complex.
The 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship will be attended by over 2,500 people, including officials, coaches, and athletes from 29 countries and territories in Asia and outside Asia. The Vietnam People's Police delegation has 70 athletes participating in the competition.
The tournament has 2 competition categories: 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship in Vietnam (participants are police officers, officers, and soldiers from Asian countries; men and women of all ages and weight classes. Competition content includes sparring, power, destruction, and team competition); 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Festival in Vietnam (participants are children, teenagers, young people, and the elderly. Competition content includes sparring, power (A/B), destruction, freestyle, Taekwondo gymnastics, and team competition).
