The project to build road No. 5 into the center of Tay Ho Tay New Urban Area (ring road 2.5 through Xuan Dinh ward, Hanoi) has a length of 582m and a cross-section of 50m.
The project includes items such as building the foundation, road surface, drainage, water supply, technical trenches, lighting, sidewalks, green trees, and traffic organization.
According to Xuan Dinh Ward People's Committee, the total recovered area of the project is 28,318m2, of which 98 households are affected.
The project was started in January 2021, with a construction time of 320 days. However, due to problems in site clearance, the project was stalled for a long time.
By the end of June 2026, the entire site has been handed over, creating conditions for the project to accelerate implementation.

According to Lao Dong's records on September 11, many machines, equipment and a team of engineers and workers were mobilized by the contractor to serve the construction work.
Looking from above, the Ring Road 2.5 section connecting from the Diplomatic Corps area to Nguyen Hoang Ton street has revealed its shape.
Taking advantage of favorable weather, the contractor is making efforts to accelerate the project progress.

Up to now, the roadbed item and underground technical infrastructure system have been completed; asphalt paving, sidewalk paving, curbs, installation of lighting systems, green trees and traffic organization are being urgently implemented according to schedule.
The goal is to complete the remaining items and technically open traffic before September 30, 2026.
Mr. Le Van Minh (Xuan Dinh ward) is excited that the Ring Road 2.5 project through the ward has had very positive changes recently.
Everyone hopes that the project will be completed soon so that travel is convenient and the urban appearance will also have a big change" - Mr. Minh said.

The project to build road No. 5 to the center of Tay Ho Tay New Urban Area plays a role as a key traffic route contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the area and completing the urban transport network, strengthening connectivity, reducing traffic pressure during peak hours, and improving the quality of the urban environment in the city in general and Xuan Dinh ward in particular.
